Agripunk is located in Ambra, in the province of Arezzo, and for over 10 years has been a project to convert a former intensive turkey farm into an anti-speciesist shelter for animals transitioning from the livestock system.
Agripunk is also a political, social, and cultural meeting place, welcoming people from around the world who come to share their experiences or offer their support.
A ruling by the Arezzo court on July 4th decreed its eviction.
We must seize this last glimmer of hope to purchase the farm and former intensive farm that houses the association and raise 500,000 euros as quickly as possible!
This is because by the end of the summer, we are being forced to gradually vacate the farm completely, with the first deadline set for June 19th.
After another month, in July, two more warehouses will be removed from Agripunk.
After that, they will force us to vacate the premises completely.
In the presence of Councilor Menchiari, the legal team, and the technical office of the Municipality of Bucine, the possibility of starting negotiations with the owner, mediated by the Municipality, has arisen.
We are launching a fundraiser for the purchase of the Agripunk headquarters because by June 19th we must have concrete and fundamental results to determine our future.
Only by purchasing the farm will we finally be able to breathe a sigh of relief and rethink the future of this place and those who live there.
Leaving would mean starting over for all of us, with all the difficulties you can imagine, and no one to watch over the forest, the lake, this valley, and the memory of those thousands of those who, over the years, have sought and continue to seek justice.
We want to purchase Agripunk, to free it once and for all.
